Its on like Donkey Kong now,

Those earlier games were kinda meh, but now we have the ones going that we need to work for us.

Marshall over Memphis (marshall leads 6-4)

UCF over UAB (UCF leads 11-9)

Tulsa over UTEP (tips in less than an hour).

IF the SMU karma is truly working, we get these results!

Kazemi with 6 TO's, Dia with 5. Would love to see Dia reduce those traveling calls - stupid.

Dia did have a few bad/stupid TO's today..but his season numbers are bit skewed. He went through a stretch early when the offense was not yet gelling of trying to thread tough passes through the lane on the back cuts. He had a lot of TOs from that. Very easy for a casual observer to look at the stats and say that Dia has "soft" hands or bad footwork.

Not the case, he catches the ball extremely well down on the blocks and he makes agressive moves. Yes, sometimes he gets called for walking, but its a fine line between between a great move and walking.

Like I said, today was a bit a-typical..but Dia the turnover machine, is a myth in my book. Very Solid player!

well, he's been doing it every since he's hit the Hilltop and bringing the ball down low to get blocked or travel.

He's been playing great, so I can't complain.

On a side note, Poor Froggies, I was forced to watch them lose a game they had won against Air Force at home in overtime, while waiting for the Tulsa UTEP game.

UAB got a hard fought win.

They may very be the best team in C-USA.

Hopefully the others will turn out good for us!

Tulsa up 8 on UTEP at the half

Memphis looks to be going down to Marshall.

This would mean, SMU is one game out of first!

Still need Tulsa and Marshall to hold on, could happen though.

Watching this UTEP-Tulsa game.

Yes it is back and forth, but Culpepper really hurts UTEP, he jacks up some crazy long range threes that are not even close.

He needs to settle it down.
