NCAA Accepts SMU Self Imposed Probation RecommendationI agree but stallion spent the basketball season dropping flyby posts with the sole purpose of aggravating bball fans.
Now he posts an old story to rehash a black eye on the program just to spite fans of the program. "This is . . . dedication to distraction by fans. Is that what I'm going to go with Jay?"
"That poor kid has to be wondering what is dad doing." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XknLDwj0dSo
NCAA Accepts SMU Self Imposed Probation Recommendation
Certainly doesn't need to be a division of fball vs bball. It's my question as to why he lays turds over here all the time.
Re: NCAA Accepts SMU Self Imposed Probation RecommendationFirst - it was not news and Stallion knows it - posting that is just a carry over of the [deleted] match from a week ago where Stallion got miffed because basketball fans had the audacity to be encouraged by a 20 win season after starting out looking like it was going to be a 25 loss season. He is unnaturally argumentative (thus his single status) and occasionally his Texas Tech law school honed lawyer skills kick in. On the plus side he reports recruiting news off the general news wire so that you dont have to pour through it or pay for it, so that is a good thing.
As to general or specific jackassery - the original [deleted] bears the primary guilt for overall board jackassery, and subsequent follow on jackasses are only about 20% responsible for general jackassery since they were goaded into jackassery by the original [deleted] and subesquent jackasses.

The self-appointed moderator speaks. And if he says it, then put it on the books. ![]()
Re: NCAA Accepts SMU Self Imposed Probation RecommendationAs a letterman, I am a fan of SMU athletics so I pull for both football and basketball. No need to be a fan of either or.
Re: NCAA Accepts SMU Self Imposed Probation Recommendation
Goes both ways...biggest bball lovers are biggest football haters...
Re: NCAA Accepts SMU Self Imposed Probation Recommendationactually not true. I dont know any bball fans that hate football. I would guess a waaaaay higher ratio of bball own football season tickets vs the reverse.
Love them both - they are both on the mend. Go Ponies.
Re: NCAA Accepts SMU Self Imposed Probation Recommendation
That comment is out of line. And it's also inaccurate.
Re: NCAA Accepts SMU Self Imposed Probation Recommendation
I agree. To state the obvious, if you have owned basketball tickets for the last few tough years years you are clearly a huge SMU fan so most likely you are going to be a fan of the football team as well.
Re: NCAA Accepts SMU Self Imposed Probation Recommendationkeep the blinders on boys....
Re: NCAA Accepts SMU Self Imposed Probation Recommendation
You should probably back that up by naming some specific people.
Re: NCAA Accepts SMU Self Imposed Probation RecommendationThey know who they are...

Re: NCAA Accepts SMU Self Imposed Probation RecommendationI also doubt there are many bigger SMU fans on this board than "the stallion", some people just have a different way of being a fan...
They don't always have to agree with you...
Re: NCAA Accepts SMU Self Imposed Probation Recommendation
This may be true but then the point of the post would be --- Foxsports reports on old story and not OMG the NCAA has now accepted the probation as though it were a new story as Stallion clearly thought. Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
