Welcome back ETF. I thought you were done with your psychological study. I look forward to more abusive posts.

I thought he said he was playing to stereotypes as a hick from east Texas as part of the study.

3030 was his predecessor.

Pretty sure the easttexas was the predecessor. Then 3030 came and went.

Who knows.

Both provide equal entertainment.

Agreed. Both pissed me off equally. But 3030 killed my post count, so I definitely dislike him more.

easttexasfan wrote:Suprised he gave the invocation for the new Moody Center. Thought Papa would have done that. My pick for the mile run would be Justin Haynes if he doesn't transfer. He is long, athletic, tough, in great shape, and should be a leader next season. He might be what Ryan was this year - a utility player who plays all positions and asks to sacrifice his game ( thus the Coaches Award) and play multiple positions. Justin certainly can guard a perimeter player or post player and has the athletic ability to do this.

East Texas fan mentions Justin Haynes is transferring before the "story" breaks and now is telling people he is going to IUPUI in Indianapolis. How does he know this?

It sounds like you got a problem with ETF. He probably didn't have a John Felt ( aka deep throat) to leak information to him/her and had to stop his research project.

Are you saying all people from East Texas are Hicks? You better watch it 2ndlandlong or some "Bubba" might take exception to that.

Junior, sounds like you got anger control problems. Nothing that some medication and a good therapist can't help get you through. Remember you control your emotions not someone else.

He must have always been on time for practice, class, got along with his teammates, acted as a leader, played any position the coach wanted him to play, never complained, etc. Boy that shouldn't qualify you for the coaches award Treadway. I noticed he also ( and they said did a great job leading the invocation at the Moody celebration) give the invocation. How should the coaches award be awarded ( by the way, the coaches are the ones who know the players best) ? Worst academics, most trouble off the court, most tatoo's, look like The Birdman from Denver, be a cancer on the team, don't play hard, always complain, etc....

Nope, no anger issues. Just didn't like them. Or you. But no worries, you'll be gone soon enough.

Jim Shorts wrote:I must have missed it. Who won the award for running the fastest mile in the off season?

I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not but I am enjoying reading a book entitled " Bill Walton" on the road with the Portland Trail Blazers by Jack Scott. The book is about the 1977 NBA championship Trail Blazers and how the 6'11" 240 pound Walton out ran all but one of his teammates in daily pre-season distance runs. Too me this is important because the leaders lead and I am one (maybe the only ponyfan) who is interested to see who runs the fastest mile. Does it have anything to do with basketball? Does great athletic ability make a great basketball player? Maybe, maybe not. One of the coaches I always admired on how his teams played is Bob Knight. He said athletic ability is important if you are a track coach. SMU might have had the least talent this year than in past years but went 8-8 in the league and won 20 games which was the most wins in several years.Once again, it is a daily process of getting better. Papa isn't athletic yet played "really incredible" within our system. Rob wasn't athletic but averaged 14 points per game ( I think). Justin Haynes might have been our best athlete. I will miss him if he is going to transfer. We had 8-9 players who normally played and understood their role - thus 20 wins.

Ok, now you actually said something intelligent! Let me take that back - no one outside the program cares. That puts you back in the idiot category.
