He finished the semester at KSU, the question is whether he appeals to play this season b/c of family illness. If not, he''ll miss this season, and be good to go next.

We could always use the depth of an additional good player. However, looking at our roster the next couple of years would we rather have him be available immediately through the appeal, or wait until the next year?

Tough call, but its 6 of one, half dozen the other, as far as I'm concerned. We aren't necessarily short w/Leslee & Shawn out to start the season, but we do need a few young kids to step up in their absence. Certainly, Nick could help in that regard, especially on the wing.

From what I understand, our early schedule is quite good this year, so I guess the question is whether they can get NIck an exemption, and if so, does he actually help vs Ok St, Ole Miss, and a potential preseason NIT appearance?
