Always been my main gripe against Dement, the guy could not develop talent.

I think it was very clear that Sasser was no better a player the day he graduated as he was on the day he first stepped onto the Moody Court. Four years of raw talent that was never taken forward to the next level.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

That's exactly what happened. But, and hear me in the right way, could Sasser have operating in a more disciplined atmosphere? He was all about creating something from nothing.

just not a system/player match. I had a discussion about Sas a year back, about what he would have been like as a PG in Calipari's dribble drive. It's an offense based on spacing & positioning, but the first rule is get big PG w/great handle, and let him get to the rack & make a decision, preferably finish.. We just jacked up awful shots. Watching Willie D launch from deep still haunts me
