I wish the NCAA would go after public schools. But that will never happen. If you are a private institution, you are screwed.

I never understood the meaning of "impermissible texts"

A coach should gust fire away...if he texts too much the kid will get annoyed and go somewhere else.

11 out of 12 schools presently on probation are state schools. There are more top programs on probation right now than at just about any time in history-more to come as well. Only 1 of the 12 is not a nationally prominent program

I get that... but the dead periods seem to be more of an excuse to bust coaches, since everyone seems to ignore them.

In the 80s, the Pay-for-Play rules seemed to be more of an excuse to bust coaches, since everyone seemed to ignore them.
