Kimball won tonight, 56-49. Frazier was the leading scorer with 15 pts. They play Arlington Seguin with the winner going to Austin. Seguin is led by TCU signee Brandon Parrish. It always comes down to SMU vs. TCU.

A selfish part of me wants Kimball to lose so Keith doesn't spend a week in Rick Barns' backyard. I don't want him getting too comfortable playing in the Erwin Center

I understand your concern but it ain't happening. Kimball just beat Seguin, 54-52. I was following the score on DMN.com. Apparently Frazier was hurt pretty badly in the 3Q and went back to locker room. At the time I believe the score was tied. Without Frazier Seguin took a 6 pt lead but in very Willis Reed like fashion (per Corbett Smith of the DMN) Frazier came back late in the game and willed Kimball to victory. He made a layup with 20 seconds left to put Kimball up 1.

Frazier is one win away from a 3-peat. Kimball beat #1 state ranked SA Brennan tonight, 64-52. As usual, Frazier led the way with 18 pts and 10 boards. They play Rosenberg Terry Saturday at 3p on Fox Sports SW for the championship.

Fox Sports Sw is televising the 5A game but only streaming the 4a game at 3:00 p.m. -it doesn't say if a fee is involved

I noticed that this morning. I was told, incorrectly, that FSSW would show both the 4A and 5A championships. Oh well, looks like the 4A game was bumped for TCU basketball, must see TV....

The 4A game is never televised, at least not live. Going back to BHop and Bosh when they played Kendrick Perkins and Ozen, no tv. i have no idea why, but its really weak. The 5A champ game is always on, but never the 5A semis. All the state tournament games should be on tv, semis and finals, but definitely the finals for 3A and up. Can't believe the UIL can't get this done and make some money in the process.
