There was some serious talk with the AD's office from some of us last season about setting up blvd style tailgating in front of Moody for a game. It got axed in the end, but they seemed open to it for a while. Start emailing and calling.

That would be awesome. it would be a good way to get students come out to the game and then get inside. Lets get this done. Maybe for the first game at New Moody? Big as party ala GWB library opening?

If I recall, you are a recent grad. The Smu cops don't mess with alum the same way students think they get messed with. UP is wet now, and it would be hard to ticket a bunch of 40 year olds for open container in a parking garage.

I think taking over Binkley rooftop is a great idea.

Why not have some sort of tailgate set up that leads from the new dorms up to Moody? There is a beautiful paved walkway that will lead from the new dorms up to Moody between the Dedman Center and the soccer field. Why not line that area with tents for tailgating?
