That is more what I thought, but the figures I found were for the 2012-2013 year....

It seemed like more than that last year but maybe not, I guess numbers were really low under Doh because last year felt like a huge improvement. The CUSA average was 5,428 and the national average was 4,994.

I may be mistaken. But, I think the 2,013 # was the last year of RoboDoh. Thought, I read somewhere where the Mustangs were around the 3,300 # last year in LB's first year.

I remember seeing this somewhere as well

I know that figures in the 3000s were being reported, but obviously not to the NCAA. I want to see us average above 4k when we get to the new Moody.

I looked at attendance on Wikipedia (yeah, I know) and the numbers looked to be consistent with what I recall as reported after last season's games -- an average of 3,165. Maybe the NCAA didn't count the free tickets you get when you show your Farm Bureau insurance (or whatever that deal was).

That's because we've sucked for a long time. This is a mindblowing jump from suckage to top player on the national recruiting scene. This is going from quaint if you squint hard we look kinda sorta like Cameron to a top notch facility to see a college basketball game. From, hey isn't that the guy who got unceremoniously shown the door at UNC to Larry Freaking Brown. I don't WANT to wait for wins over high profile teams. I want a frenzy now. The time is perfect to jump on this thing. Capitalize on this slow moving softball and punch it way over the wall.

I think our attendance will be better this year especially if we start out beating TCU.

Perhaps. And they probably don't county student attendance. And Doh attendance was dragged down by the DCU game during the holidays when there were no more than 300 people there.

I believe they count tickets bought (and probably scanned) regardless of who bought them. Attendance was not good last year but better than the Doh years. If we can get about 5,000 per game at some point in the future that would be very good. I think we sell out UConn and Louisville.

I agree. 5000 a game should be the standard acceptable given our commitment to the program. UConn and Louisville might be among the best atmospheres in Moody in a long time... Can't wait.

I think the atmosphere could be electric in those 2 games.
