Mrydel, is that you posting as ebrooks11? Good one. Houston being good in hoops is good for us. Improved the rivalry and sticks it to the Big East school who thought SMU would drag down the conference in hoops. Stick it to the man. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Possibly the greatest compliment I've ever been given.
I am surprised he let you best him to it. Comedy is all timing and delivery. You get A+ on both - Well Done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We really need to sweep Houston. Will be a big challenge, but I'm tired of that "school". I'd rather be "paired" with Rice.

Houston's an interesting team. they Beat UCONN and lose to Cincy by 1 but they have lost to SJSU by 4 at home, Texas Teck by 12 at home, Stanford by 10 at home, TA&M by 17 away, ULL by 4 away. They also only beat rice by 2 at home and only beat Texas state by 6 at home.
Based on that record I'd imagine Houston is either a) talented but not that well coached so they are inconsistent or b) not particularly talented but well coached so they can play to the level of their opponents.

Probably (a) but they've had personnel issues of course so probably affecting team chemistry. Anyway, Houston sucks! Let's kick their arses!!

Sweeping Houston would be a heck of an accomplishment. Any road win in the AAC will be hard to come by and it's really important we defend Moody. Hope I'm wrong and we become a .500 road team, but I think we are a year away from being that strong.

I agree 100% with this. That's what I've also been saying all along.

The UConn performance came out of nowhere and has given them a fresh start. I think they probably benefited from the xmas break to get chemistry down, just like SMU did.

The loses to Stanford and Texas Tech were in Brooklyn, N.Y. (Barclays Center) at a tournament not at their home. Most of Houston's loses came after Daniel House was hurt. Took them some time to adjust to it and now they are playing well.
