You haven't seen anything yet. Once SMU starts being successful for a long enough period of time you'll start attracting all sorts of "fans". Hang out on boards for teams like Duke, Kansas, Syracuse, et al and you'll need to take a bleach shower to feel clean. Today, SMU fans are largely alumni (even fake ones like me) who just want to see his/her school do well. Tomorrow you'll be debating/defending your fan level with guys that found an SMU koozie in the trash and now think they're super fans. The good news is you'll know you have arrived.
