Great idea austinponie! Makes sense for SMU to build relationships with the Dallas Cowboys. That way maybe football recruits, current football players and football coaches could could see NFL practices, meet Dallas Cowboy coaches, and meet Dallas Cowboy players. The Dallas Cowboys could become a real asset to SMU.

Either way, is it necessary for you to get up on your high horse and comment about it? Do you feel better about yourself right now?

Note: I realize you are but one in a long line of people who have been less than pleased with StandUp's posts. This post just happened to grab my attention more than some of the others.

Feel the love :) Big12Mustang and PonyFan32 all I did was agree with someone's post. No high horse involved here. I don't get it. If that is Mr. Obvious to you, ok? So, you don't like my posts. That is fine. Why even waist your time commenting? Why all the hate? No need to tell me that you don't like my posts every time that I post something. Gets pretty old. Look in the mirror. I guess that is really "you" who needs to feel better about yourself. If it really makes you feel better then do whatever I guess. I don't get it. Get over yourself.

JJ is an excellent coach and can coach up kids. The problem is that he does not recruit, does not extend himself to represent the university and does not relate and get involved with the students, alums, boosters ...etc. He merely want to coach football and not conduct all those other functions demanded by his job.

For discussion sake. I can say that I agree with most of your points with the exception that I do not think that June Jones is a good coach or even capable of coaching up kids. Who did he really coach up last year? Our Football Team was terrible.

I believe the underlying problem is that no one is holding June Jones accountable for anything.

No one tells June Jones that he has to recruit. No one tells him that he has to build relationships with high school coaches in and around Dallas. No one tells him that he should be more involved with the students. No one tells him that he should always represent the University with the utmost respect. No one tells him that he has to meet with boosters. No one tells him that he needs to talk to alumni. No responsibility and no accountability. Why this is I will never know. This is probably a question for Hart.

I've got nothing against you bud, the thing is you post stuff that is really obvious/common knowledge to people in this board so it is hard for me and some of us to tell if you are trying to mock us.

Also, we have a major troll (Cougar King) that is from Houston just like you so there is that suspicion that it might be you. If you are CK, you can eff off right now.

If you are an honest, excited SMU fan, then welcome aboard and keep posting! Love your enthusiasm. #PonyUp

We are talking about practice? Not a game. Practice?
