basically except for the 70s when they went to a final 4 and had some winning seasons they have been pretty mediocre with an occasional winning season.

This game scares me. SMU history tells us we frequently fall flat on our face when we are a heavy favorite and particularly on the road. There is no question that the Moody atmosphere helps our team. As Coach Brown has said we still have to learn how to win the games we are supposed to. I think this team is different and I am sure our coaching staff is doing what they can to be sure we come out and play with energy and up to our capability. For that reason I am optimistically scared. GO MUSTANGS!
