“@InsideCarolina: It's official - tonight's game between UNC-Duke has been postponed.†SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: nj weatherwow. we may not play tomorrow.
your guys are on your own tonight for more weather updates.
Re: nj weatherWatching it right now on NY/Nj local TV. Ima start the "over-rated" chant right now. I won't drive three hours through crap to get there but I don't see the game being postponed. Looks mostly like a rain/sleet event along 95 in Jersey. More west= more problems.

Re: nj weatherMaybe they're doing it overhyped due to Atlanta
Re: nj weatherI hope they play. It would suck sitting around in a hotel for three days waiting to play one game.

Re: nj weatherActually a Friday game might be an option. The Stangs are there and aren't going anywhere as they play in Philly on Sunday. It ain't pretty right now. Snow forecasts have been pushed up a few inches.

current weather and forecast. no word yet on game tonight.
Re: nj weatherRutgers Website states the University is closed until Friday. Only essential employees are to report to work. Does not indicate what the status of the game is. So for now, it appears to be on.
Re: nj weatherThey are calling for 10-14 inches of snow with 30 mph winds...sounds like blizzard conditions. I doubt they play this game.
Re: nj weatherSMU just announced it has been postponed till tomorrow. Time TBA.
Re: nj weatherNo surprise at cancellation. My son lives 20 miles directly north of Rutgers and at 9 AM has 6 inches of snow with a prediction of 12 to 18 inches. Weather forecast has snow turning to rain late in the date then resuming to snow most of the night. This will be a real mess with snow, layered ice and more snow.
Re: nj weatherDays in the Northeast like today serve as a reminder as to why I was so happy spending 10 "college years"
