OT: I was looking to see where the SMU game was going to be shown and it ticks me off that we are in ESPN News. I don't have that channel and neither do most bars I have tried to get them to put the channel on. Meanwhile UConn vs. USF are on ESPN2 which is not bad.

We are ranked so I thought we would get more ESPN love.

It'll be on 5 different big screens for thirsty Thursdays at the bar I favor in the CTX. I've got the owner becoming a fan of us! He now wears SMU shirts on gamedays.

I've been watching those games on my laptop for now, but I will check if Buffalo wild wings has it. If not, I would have to drive to Barley or Milos. I don't get those at home because I have Verizon FIOS cable and for some reason my package includes all ESPN with the bevo network and Big Ten network but no ESPN News...

That's terribly unfortunate. I would not be happy if that were the case for me. I don't think I would ever watch either of those channels.

In my case, it's all on me because I cut the cord so I pretty much have to scour the local bar scene or search online if I want to watch the game...

I've got Verizon and while I get most ESPN channels in HD, I only get ESPNNews in SD, channel 72.

That is unfortunate. When I'm at home I usually hook my computer up to my outdoor TV and fire up the grill. I do have more fun watching the game at a bar though. I hope you can find something. Ask the server if they can put it on, most places do have it they just choose to put on the mainstream channels that have been on their tv since they got their sports package.
