I'm not sure how many times I need to say it but apparently at least one more time. Kansas is not in this race. They have already signed Cliff Alexander. The likelihood of Self taking Turner as well is about non-existent. I'd be beyond shocked if he ends up at KU as would just about everyone else.

I thought there were concerns about Alexander's eligibility?

Just the same as there's been concern about Mudiay's? Not trying to be a smart a__ but they'll both be fine at the end of the day, know what I mean? The biggest thing is watching the KU coaching staff, Self would've cut ties before the LOI and would be actively recruiting right now. He's not actively recruiting Myles in the way other schools are.

Is this new or has SMU always been "Warm" in the Interest column?

I just saw the same thing. I hadn't checked his profile on 247 in a while.

If there is any truth to the fact that Self wouldn't take Myles at this point with the Alexander commitment, I pray he can somehow push him toward SMU given his connection to LB, would be the hugest bone thrown our way yet..

Self would also have a vested interest in keeping Turner away from Big 12 schools

Self told Turner that if Embiid stays it would not be worth coming to Kansas. Everything is contingent pn what Embiid does.

Ok well I guess the same applies, if we find out Embiid is staying I wonder if Self would push him toward SMU.

I literally just said KU will not be taking Myles because of Alexander. It's posted above.

Where did you hear this? Link or just your opinion?

And there's about a 5% chance of Embiid staying, so might as well assume he's gone.

Turner said it in an interview a week or so back.

Myles Turner's Choices... Between SMU, Ohio State, Ok St, and Kansas... I would be curious to know everyone's unbiased opinions about who's roster next year would have a legitimate shot at being a National Contender? (If Myles Turner signs with them)

My opinion is that SMU would have the best overall roster returning, add Myles Turner and he pushes us to being a Top 10 National Contender. Does Myles Turner truly want to win a National Championship? Our program is on the rise.

Next Year Rosters...
SMU (adds Mudiay)
Ohio State (don't know enough about their roster next year)
Oklahoma State (loses Marcus Smart and others ?)
Kansas (Embiid returns or not, Alexander added)

Come to SMU Myles! Be coached by one of the best. Big things are happening on The Hilltop!

Alexander and Turner would be on the floor at the same time. And that is if Alexander even gets into Kansas due to grades. Also, how many bigs do we already have and how many minutes will he get? Also, Matta. Ford, and Self all have a reputation of starting freshmen from day 1.
