Based on what I've seen from Brown, I don't think he really likes the attention, but anything that is good for the program he embraces. He is smart enough to know that the Godfather campaign is good for the program so he will play along.

I see at least 1 person with one on every game. I have to admit I did not know HoopmanX came up with it out of whole cloth. I figured it was inside hoops thing that the fanatics only new about. Well done HoopmanX.

Here is my tweet before the Memphis game.

@mickmcg21: @hoopmanx. #godfather shirt rules. My buddy preparing or battle. #SMU #Moody

I thought the band was great. I had been wondering what had happened to them with all the other things going on during games.

I will say that the MOB etc need to follow the band's lead when they play and not try to counter cheer them.

Our organization around cheers and chants is lacking, but the energy is undeniably there. SMU students (and most alumni) aren't used to this type of environment. Keep the energy up and it'll all come together. There's actually something kind of cool about the pandemonium created by the disorganization.

You're right. Don't need a script... just let it develop.

They are super quite compared to the music volume in New Moody and it doesn't keep the energy up during timeouts.

Yes - too much band during the second half. Music over the PA seems to get the crowd and players much more energized.

I noticed that with the increased noise level in Moody that the band can get covered up. I wonder if they can drop a couple of mics around the band to capture the songs for the PA system?

I feel like we need to take advantage of the 3 distinct sections of students. It will difficult to really sync the 3 divided groups so perhaps we need to set them against each other competitively to further boost noise. If each frat or group consistently sits in the same area it could work
