Exactly. Nothing more ridiculous to drunk 20 y/os than 'act like you've been there before'.

UNC is first team since AP poll began in 1961 to beat all 4 of the top pre season top 4.
UNC first unranked win vs ranked Duke since 2003.
UNC is 5-1 vs ranked teams this year.
and most interesting, Duke is 21-6, 14-0 at home, and 7-6 on road/neutral games this season.
that last note Sounds familiar
and lost to Belmont @ home, UAB and Wake.

As a former tarheel, I will say I never rushed a court. And i don't really think they should have in this instance. But I am attributing it to the one week delay, most UNC students felt really slighted by K that he canceled the game, as conditions were not that bad. They felt he was afraid of a dean dome that would be mostly students.
Doesn't look good as a blue blood program, but good they're having fun and as always Go to Hell Duke

so when SMU wins the National Championship, the students shouldn't rush the court, right? I'm a blue hair and I would rush the court. then I would lift a cheerleader or something. well maybe not. just lift LB. chanting AARP, AARP

I have to disagree with him. Like others have said, college athletics is about both winning and having fun. It's entertainment for the students and fans. While I want to get to the Duke, UNC, etc level... I don't ever want our students to become so used to winning that they don't even get excited over a big win anymore. Contrast that to, say, Alabama in football where their fanbase has become so jaded due to their recent success that coaches get criticized for not beating teams badly enough... where fans call for an offensive coordinator to be fired because of his 3rd down playcalling in games that they won by 21 points.

Who cares what the students do?...as long as they are at the games and they enjoy themselves and are loudly vocal of the SMU team?...rush or don't rush?...depends on the game/situation and the UNC rush proves that. And I DO know that Alex Lifeson will always take RUSH.

Agreed. Alex is the biggest Limbaugh fan I have ever known. Follows RUSH everywhere.

I am in the who cares whether they rush or not, but I love that after everyone including the godfather made such a big deal out if it and said they don't do it at NC, they turn around the next week and rush the court. Absolutely priceless.
Some smart a press should ask LB what he thinks of UNC fans rushing the court. I bet it would be one funny answer.

I don't think he referenced UNC. He may have been thinking of UNC, but he explicitly stated Kansas and UCLA.

Or a goal collapses and hits a kid in the back of the head, which happened to an SMU student years ago at a football game.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Yeah, I saw that go down from a few yards away. Seemed funny at the time, but I think it was pretty serious. We got those auto-collapsing contraptions pretty soon after...
