From everything I have read, I truly believe that this is a done deal. People close to him know his decision. He is waiting to announce (and SMU is waiting for him to announce) when it will offer the biggest splash.
When would that be in the world of NCAA Basketball? Well... it is almost March...and there is a pretty massive event that is to occur in Dallas in late March just down the road from his HS.

HS Principals know less than HS coaches. HS coaches aren't nearly as important as they think they are compared to aau coaches.

If the goal is to make a splash, at this point it is definitely the McDonald's All American game.
