White is the normal home color so a white out is logical. Had we wanted a red out, like we did with UConn, it could have been we requested red and Louisville said no.

What about a blue out since it is a school color and everyone likes blue?

Still would need permission from Louisville if the rules are the same as football. If they want to wear dark (red or black) we would be limited to light (white).

SMU just doesn't do "outs". We've never pulled one off. A "white out" is yesterday's gimmick. If we're going to "out" a color, blue would look best on national tv. However, I will conform and don the well-worn wifebeater.

Re: This....you can either do the Peruna hand-sign or make noise by clapping, but you can't really do both. We've got to popularize lyrics to Peruna or something...Pony Ears look good on TV but you've got to cheer something or make noise also...
