He probably doesn't even remember he went here. A&m took him to their bonfire tribal dance and erased his memory

Demanded guaranteed minutes at the three or he will transfer? And transfer last minute mind you.

He made the right decision for him. Good for the kid, hope he has some serious success in CS.

...But.

If he's nostalgic he can find us on the CBS networks during March Madness. Heyo.

If he were not buying into LB's concepts and system and had an attitude problem then it was the best thing for the team that he left.

I think that getting that me-first, screw the team, I want my minutes attitude out of the locker room was great for us

Unless you have some strange affinity for sheep, can CS ever really be the RIGHT decision for anyone?

He's probably feeling pretty good about his decision because his minutes would have been reduced this year and all but eliminated his senior season

How many of you have even watched Jalen? He would have been a major contributor this season and next. We don't have a player that can get to the basket like him on this team. He is a damn good player. You guys are crazy. It is probably a good thing for the team that he is gone but it isn't because of his ability.

I know I never made a decision when I was 19 that I might reconsider down the road.
Nonetheless, I'm grateful to Jalen for his time at SMU and I wish him well ... except if we play A&m again, of course.

I agree he was a solid player and brought great hustle and there have been times I really miss him, but he was a "tweener" and would have been recruited over. He left because he knew his playing time was going to be reduced this season and had no assurances it wouldn't get worse his senior season. He really was asked to play the 4 under Doherty and in Brown's 1st year and did a great job, but look at the minutes last year's guys (except for Nick Russell) are getting and ask yourself whether you REALLY believe Jalen would be a 30 minute guy at the expense of Ben Moore, Shawn, Cannen, Sterling, Keith, etc...not to mention who might be coming in next season

CP, I agree with you most of the time but that's simply not true. As a senior JJ would start at SMU and at almost any school in the country. The guy can defend, rebound, has a mid range game and can finish inside. His talent never was the issue.
