Very nice piece and thanks for posting. A huge shoutout to our own ThadFilms for providing footage to HBO as well!

Was wondering why Thad has been walking around the court with a camera.

He's doing his own feature on this season/LB.

That's not what it says at all. Try rewatching it again impartially

LB didn't even know June until LB expressed interest in the job on national TV and SMU kept cancelling interviews and June called him (along with Kris Lowe etc.).

During their initial conversation, Jones told Brown they’d met before, when Jones was a 17-year-old senior at Grant.

"June kept telling me to hang in there and be patient.”

That is what everyone has been saying all along that June called him a told him to hang in there. Kris Lowe did the same thing and deserves mentioning as well.

Kris Lowe played for us back in the early 2000s. He's now the assistant AD. Great guy. He was a smooth lefty, played the 2/3. Nice player.

Oh, I remember the name as a player now but I did not know he worked for SMU now. Good to hear. Rebel sure likes to make sure he gets credit for his role in LB's hiring.
