From what I see, we'd be playing Rutgers not Houston with the 4th seed. USF if with the 3rd seed. Houston, at #6, would be playing Memphis at #5.

Pretty much, but it'd be a good statement to have two quality resume road wins.

The first round is 7 vs. 10 and 8 vs. 9 to get down to 8. Then it's 1 vs. 8/9 winner, 2 vs. 7/10 winner, 3 vs. 6, and 4 vs. 5 in the quarterfinals.

Ok. Thanks. Tough games for 3-4-5 any way you slice it.

No, if uconn ends up winning the we have to win the game to get the third seed. If uconn loses if does not matter whether win, but they play after us so hard to call our game meaningless. As for NCAA seeding, it could make a difference. We can improve our seeding if we win a couple games and Memphis on the road would be a good one.

And potentially losing two in a row to Memphis wouldn't look good.

We are definitely better off as the 3 seed...the bottom half of the draw.
If Louisville and Cincy end up tied after today, who gets the one seed?

Its not meaningless. If UConn wins tonight we play Memphis yet again on Thursday ...in Memphis of course and could be another loss. It WILL affect seeding in the big dance and more importantly the mental attitude of SMU with possibly three losses in a row heading into the NCAA's...not a good mind set. You need to be rolling late, not reeling late.

Incorrect. Cincy will be the 1 seed

If Louisville beats UConn, who would be the 3 seed? We split with Memphis. UConn 2- 0 versus Memphis, we were 2 - 0 versus UConn?

Believe if Louisville beats UConn. SMU becomes the #3 seed.

ALERT-Game is not tonite-its on CBS right now and we definitely want the classy Louisville Cardinals to thump UCONN
