He probably just wants to see what a road game looks like (and compare another crowd to Moody). If we offer Gilder (we have, haven't we?) and he commits to us, it's 100% that Thomas then will as well. But then you have the Tyler Davis/Hogg/McClure group as well. They are all probably waiting on each other. Damn good position for SMU to be in.

I am a huge SMU fan, don't get me wrong, but I don't see Thomas, Gilder, Davis, Hogg, and McClure all come at once. All those guys will want to play right away and be stars, wont happen of they all come to one place. Don't get me wrong, I think we get two of those guys (Thomas and Gilder), which is great!!

I read ojaipony's comments as meaning we could get one group or the other as a package deal. I didn't read it as "they will all commit to the same place". Could be wrong though.

Kind of funny, Elijah retweeted this....

“@jerrymeyer247: SMU 57% n #Crystalball for Elijah Thomas, who is visiting Memphis this weekend. Oklahoma State second http://bit.ly/1fAbwu4 @sethkrug1”

Correct, that's what I meant. It seems that way to me anyway. They all have us on their list, some of them are very high on us. And I think many of them are just waiting to see what the others do before they commit to us OR someone else. Trust me, if they all committed, I think I'd implode. That's not going to happen. (Personally, from what I've seen I'd rather get the Tyler Davis/McClure/Hogg group than Thomas/Gilder but what do I know and as I said I'll take ANY and be damn stoked about it). Ultimately, I think none of them are a true "package deal" but more of "it would be ideal if we could play together deal". It DOES sound, however, like Thomas REALLY wants to play with Gilder in college. I'm not sure who else have offered BOTH of them. (Okie St?).

Gotcha, I would say we have A MUCH better chance getting Thomas and Gilder, both of the 247 sports pages has them going to SMU as of now. The Davis, McClure, hogg haven't seemed to have as much interest as the other two from what I have seen.

I agree. Thomas and Gilder seem more like a true package deal and they seem more likely to commit to us than the other 3. I'm with ojaipony and pretty much everyone else... I'll take any of them. All seem like solid players.

Hogg has been in the stands 2 or 3 times and I have seen his father here as well. I think
he definitely has an interest.

I've also see ET play a couple of times and I'm not as high on him. He does have two things going
for him - he is tall and he is heavy. Rebounding is his strength but then it should be since he takes
up so much room and is near 7 ft. In high school that equates to getting a lot of rebounds and some
putbacks. He is not very athletic and does not compare well with Cunningham, Kennedy, or B Moore.

I haven't seen Gilder or the Rockwall kid - but it would be great to have a scorer and 3 baller.

Have you seen Davis play?

No I haven't seen Davis play. He was not cleared to play for Plano West after he transferred there.

The same with Mickey Mitchell. I only saw him play in the Berkner game, but he certainly was
impressive in the few minutes that he played.

For those who don't know, I think this video sums up Elijah and Admon's relationship pretty well.
