I booed. And I enjoyed it. Two tech grads sat next to me last game. They smelled like tortillas
Well, the TT Basketball season ended about 7 years ago, so I completely understand their need to watch some good hoops.

Makes sense now, did not see the back or the number, just the front top part. I still think MOB members ought to be in red and blue. Not a big deal, I agree with many on here, just glad they are showing up and cheering. Would be nice and an added touch if it was a sea of red or blue, IMHO.

I think red looks better in our building - plus it is a better contrast to the purple/gold nonsense

That's what I was thinking, I will probably wear red for this one. Blue would contrast better against the Hogs, if we end up getting them.

I think red for the LSU game and if we win blue for the Arkansas game if they beat Cal..

Red. Always red. Make them modify. When you're the home team, don't try to get 5,000 people to change every time. If hogs want to wear red, our stadium will be more red. If we try to go blue, and it is n't a long-term planned effort, it just looks like a whole lot of Hogs when our folks show up in red and majority is in blue.

If we play Arkansas on the next round, can we do a Blue out? Or a Blue and White color block by sections...

Last game I was a little disappointed with the number of folks who were not wearing anything SMU. Seems like other games I watch on TV there is the occasional fan, but most are wearing the school colors. I even saw one student, presumably a MOB member, wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey? Come on man! And I'm glad the kid wearing the Baylor shirt got booed.
Can we not do a Red out and Blue out for these last (hopefully) games? Just to add another level of home court advantage? Red out for LSU, then Blue out for the (again, hopefully) next game? The team can still wear the home white, but just to organize the fans a bit?
And there is now a replica jersey for sale in the bookstore, looks pretty good. Better than the fball jersey one.
yeah, i can see how wearing a football jersey of one of the best WRs to come out of SMU is deplorable to you...

Deplorable? I re-posted saying I understood then, when that part was pointed out. I also said I really appreciate the smu students this year and the way they've made this a great home court environment, including the kid wearing the jersey. There are plenty of students who don't wear any smu or random jerseys or other things, just making an observation to help make the crowd even more impressive. You disagree, great, that's what the MB is for. Go Stangs!

Winners wear red. http://www.spiegel.de/international/zei ... 70918.htmlThis is not the sole reason why I am pro-red, but I had seen a few different studies like this in the past. Where I saw it last was with the Rangers and how they changed from primarily blue to red immediately preceding their first World Series run. I am just posting this because I found it interesting.
