If he could get that, he could go right into starting lineup replacing Shawn. I miss Troy Matthews.
Re: Jordan Tolbert (Texas Tech transfer) visits SMUAnyone know what other schools he's visiting?

Tortilla Tech message boards are saying Jordan wants to be close to home with his father's passing. They are saying SMU, UTA, and UNT. Don't think Tech will allow Jordan to transfer to TCU. 2015 INDIANAPOLIS OR BUST

I think I remember a story within the past year where a player had a parent pass away, but the NCAA denied the hardship waiver because the sick family member was already dead. "[College] referees couldn't manage a White Castle." -Mark Cuban

Re: Jordan Tolbert (Texas Tech transfer) visits SMU
NCAA reversed the decision on appeal. He injured his knee and only played 11 games at Rutgers this season. Off topic, I think players in any sport who don't get their scholarships renewed should be able to go anywhere, including the same conference, and play the next season. Keep rules the same for players who choose to transfer, with a more realistic NCAA interpretation of what constitutes a hardship. Sorry for his loss, and I wish him well no matter where he lands. http://collegebasketballtalk.nbcsports. ... mediately/

Assuming we offer him you would think this decision would be a no brainer.
Re: Jordan Tolbert (Texas Tech transfer) visits SMUTorilla Tech makes me laugh. Tubby Tub Tub might have issues winning in bad cow smell town
Re: Jordan Tolbert (Texas Tech transfer) visits SMUIf one assumes that he comes to SMU and is immediately eligible only for the 2014/15 season it still makes the 2016 class very heavy on potential available scholarships. We really could use someone with 2 years of eligibility to traverse the possible experience gap with so many 2016 scholarships. Also, we need some experience at PG if Mudiay is a one and done. We only need to look at MF as an example of the time necessary for development of even the highest rated players.
