But TyDerby has repeatedly told us SMU has no chance and it is definitely between Texas and Kansas. A couple of our long time posters have joined him in this incessant chant. Still waiting on their sources.
When will I start feeling stimulated??

It was just a joke.

They're preseason Top 15 next year with or w/o Turner. Nobody literally returns everyone from a 27-10 team and the two that graduate get major upgrades at each position.

True, I guess we will be right behind Minnesota since they return a lot of their players as well.

No way, will be well ahead of Minnesota. Do you realize the talent influx with Mudiay alone coming in? This is a guy that can immediately be the best player on the team and it's already a solid team. He's an NBA player on a college roster for a year. If the Tech transfer is eligible immediately, not even comparable to Minnesota. Shawn Williams needed to go and quite frankly, I like Russell a lot, but he was a major liability with the ball in his hands.

That is not true at all. They lose a big senior from this class in Austin Hollins. Their inside guys are worthless. And their big coming in from this class is a 6-9 forward from Washington. Minnesota will be preseason ranked 7 or lower in the Big 10 next year.

I was being sarcastic. My bad. Well it's gonna be one good team, I'm pumped, wish it was basketball season all over again. Hopefully the young guys get to work, Frazier especially. If Frazier can work on his handles and decision making, he's going to be a very viable option next year.

I was being sarcastic. But speaking of their worthless inside guys, didn't their worthless inside guys kind of sort of hold our inside guys to a lower than normal performance?

They lose their best player and don't have arguably the top recruit in the country coming in.

Probably, gotta figure Michigan, MSU, OSU are locks to be ahead. Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana and Nebraska are all trending the right way as well. Add Maryland, I'd say that sounds about right. They'd be doing well to be in the top half of the B10 next year, 7 or better.

Just a feeling, but I think this one might just have some legs to it. I think Turner knows Mudiay enough to realize what a special oppotunity it would be.

For what it's worth, The Fan radio hosts said this morning that Turner to SMU was a done deal and that their sources tell them it is just a matter of the announcement.
Just the messenger, not sure if anyone else heard that.
Lot of smoke with this story...
