Memphis was a fantastic host. Everyone who made that trip will agree. It's a college basketball town.

Am I the only person that recognizes New Orleans for the filthy, smelly, rotten city that it is? Yes it has a few days of drunken fun each year and there is some great music, but as far as the city itself, it sucks, and is very expensive. Whiskey can pour and food can be cooked and music can be played in many better places then New Orleans in my opinion.

Im there with you. Whomever said most of it is like the bad part of NW Hwy was pretty accurate. Put a blindfold on me and if I stepped off a plane unaware of my destination, I could identify the stench of nola in about 5 seconds

I think facilities would be a serious issue in New Orleans, where would you hold it, and where would teams practice? Tulane gym doesn't hold enough people to host the womens tournament.
