I follow Dan on twitter. He has been very complimentary on SMU all season - not sure I've seen a bad piece from him all season. Not sure why you're digging up almost two year old tweets

Plenty of people were wrong about Larry Brown - and plenty more were very skeptical. This could've been another June Jones situation where you have a stubborn old coach sitting on his butt and collecting a paycheck.

I'd say it's turned out better than I ever imagined and am very thankful to have Larry at SMU!

I'm not as forgiving as you are. I assume he wrote an article saying how wrong he was like some of the others have done (Greg Doyel). As far as the two years is concerned, what is the appropriate time limit on this forum? I am not one of the "what have you done for me lately" type. I try to take the whole body of work. If he disagreed with the hire, he could have said so without all the sarcasm. Just my take. Love him if you want to.
When will I start feeling stimulated??

The most prominent basketball poster on this board said that if brown was hired we would never hear from him again, and plenty of other people felt he same way. It is the guy's job to write things people will click on and we are still talking about it two years later, job well done.
