tough group. I expect JMM will contribute in whatever ways he can...remember that there aren't enough minutes to go around but somebody has to compete as a practice player to keep the guys sharp. Hopefully he earns a degree and leaves SMU feeling good about his experiences here...and is another loyal Mustang for life. We can't have enough of those

How will he become an smu success story?? The same way Kobe became a (Duke/Carolina depending on who you listen to) success story?? He will always be a shoulda coulda woulda w regard to smu

You do the right thing now and maybe it comes back via a nice cash contribution from a guard who, although he never played collegiate ball, has a soft spot in his heart for SMU but just signed a 150 million dollar pro contract.

Unless, of course, TCU comes knocking.

Seriously? Stop taking that dead horse to pasture and put it in the ground. Why do we care what any school with a "T" does? We are still the best team in Texas and one of the good "brand names" currently. Stop looking backwards. You cannot become number 1 unless you aren't looking up to anything but yourself. They do not deserve a vague reference in this conversations. Those f'en purple rainbow misguided mascot want-to-bes..
