Re: SMU Baylor scrimmage todayI've heard every recap of the scrimmage at this point. At worst, we held our own and played them even. At best, our starters did damage and Yanick/Nic got off. I've heard our starters won, but Baylor won 2 of 3 periods etc. Anyway, its all good, we're good
Re: SMU Baylor scrimmage today
Thank you, Hoopmanx GO MUSTANGS!
Re: SMU Baylor scrimmage todayBased on what I have heard - it seems like there was time for starters, then I assume non starters, then maybe some mix. Say we start Yanick, Nic, Sterling, Ben M , Keith. MK and JMart dont play. So our next group is Ryan, Ben E, Cannen, and ???? (I assume Jordan T can't participate). It would not surprise me if when we get past the starters in that format, that we were not outstanding.
Re: SMU Baylor scrimmage todayI doubt Baylor's subs would be that much better than our subs though. We're talking 10th man at that point. And why would JMart not play?
Re: SMU Baylor scrimmage today
He's got a foot/ankle injury. I believe the staff is optimistic he'll be ready for Gonzaga. SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: SMU Baylor scrimmage todayThanks! I had no idea about his injury.
Re: SMU Baylor scrimmage todayFor a deep team we are starting to look thin at the start....
Re: SMU Baylor scrimmage today
If we benched all 5 starters after the first then our bench becomes very suspect towards the end of the pine.

What? SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: SMU Baylor scrimmage today
Reports saying our starters won and bench lost. After our top 3 bench subs who do we have left? I bet LB used it as a chance to get some major experience for the super reserves
Re: SMU Baylor scrimmage todayAs in Wilfong etc...
Re: SMU Baylor scrimmage todayWilfong is part of a great basketball legacy. His great uncle was the first All American from the University of Memphis and his dad was on the Memphis team that went to the Final Four in 1985.
