If they are full strength and we beat them it I would think that it would help the RPI and a loss would not hurt that much. I they are not at full strengths a win would not help RPI that much and a loss would really hurt. I hope the players are back.

I sense you know very little about how RPI works.

Yes, RPI has nothing to do with what names are on the jerseys.

Correct about RPI not taking players into account. BPI (the thing ESPN is pushing on the world) does take into account when "key players" are out, though.

Don't we stand a good chance against IU regardless?

we should beat them. The only reason it could be close is because it's on the road in a tough environment. If it was in Moody it would be an annihilation

Just my opinion. I expect us to come out on top but by less than 10

Tom Crean is a terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrible in game coach. Can't wait for him to bumble through awful substitution patterns.
We should absolutely win this game.

"so he'd have a full bench for SMU", think about that comment. Has to bring a smile to your face.

Yes. They have a few real nice freshmen coming in and Troy Williams would start for any team in the country. Outside that, they're going to have a tough season. And Crean is the biggest [deleted] in the coaching fraternity. Almost universally disliked, including by their own fans.

....and the second game tough road trip through multiple time zones. I still expect a win. I don't at Gonzaga but i think they are capable of winning both.

BPI, takes injuries into account not RPI. But since the selection committee is not a bunch of machines they could very well take that into account.

If Kennedy is not back or if Nic gets in early foul trouble it could be a closer game than you might expect or possibly even a loss.
