You better pray you do otherwise you can kiss this promising season goodbye. He needs to be eligible to make any sort of tourney run.
Last year before the season would we have so much gloom and doom about losing MK? Just trying to keep perspective, this opens up room for someone to explode and at the least for experience.
Fact. But the team certainly isn't better off without him in the long-term. Not to mention, there's some transfers and new pieces that need to be blended in and ideally it would be done with your full roster. So the quicker he gets back, the better as far as I'm concerned.

Trying to be a glass half full guy tonight.
This provides an excellent opportunity for Ben M/Yanick/Cannen to get extended run, and hopefully with MK back for Miiiiiiiiiiiiichigan, we are that much more skilled/experienced up front.
Also this provides an opportunity for LB to test out stretch 4 lineups with a Nic/KF/Jmart/SB/YM 5, where we run people out of the building.

It will give Cannen more time as well. But in all honesty OBF is correct in the we need him back before the season is out in order to make a good run in the tournament. From what everyone is saying he will be back next semester.

I would agree with that OBF.

It will be interesting to see if we run Arkansas out of the building.

We know Kennedy will be out for the Gonzaga, Indiana, and Arkansas games. Those are the OOC games that could help or RPI. Let's hope SMU can go at least 2-1 for those games.

To all that say "no big deal", did you watch the same team that I did last year? Sure as hell looked like MK was the focal point of this team and provided major stability, even during the times when nic lost his cool. Huge huge blow no matter how optimistic you want to pretend to be...

You're joking right? Do you want smu to become like UNC? If the ncaa catches any fishy business outside of the p5 they will drop the hammer in a heartbeat
I don't think he means cheating. And by the way, SMU did the UNC stuff during the Pony Express era so it is not like SMU is a bunch of saints in the area either. But I don't believe MK was failing but that he did not meet the universities requirements as Stallion has stated.
The Death Penalty didn't have a thing to do with academic issues-you want to back that up with some evidence
