agree with majority sentiments on here…

1) kF has about 15% chance of every playing for us. Real shame since i think he has huge talent. He just would not go to class. Wouldn't do it. Made F's in the easiest of classes. ONly so much anyone can do in that situation
2) we are deep and this in no way knocks us out. Hurts our chances, yes - but there are many paths to getting it done.
3) biggest issue with investigation is the chill it could put on others still considering SMU. May is a long time to wait for that to get settled.
4) SMU is committed to basketball for good - period. Its not just an LB thing. Our entire school from the top down goes to basically every game. I do some volunteer work at the business school - and people are moving events away from home games. That has never happened in 30 years of my time around SMU. We will not give that up as long as DM is sitting down there. you can bank that.
