Think he is just one to ask "in only 3 years we went from envious of Houston's current average attendance to mocking it...what can we do to ensure it doesn't go back to that even faster?" There is a difference between pointing out their obvious issues and perpetuating douche-baggery. Think he is just asking to shift more towards the former.

So let me get this straight - until we have 5 years of good attendance in both FB and BB and are consistently in the top 25, then and only then can we make fun of Houston and only if we do it in a gentlemanly way that doesn't mock the other team in an overly negative way.

This on an SMU fan board only read by possible a couple of hundred of the most die hard mustang fans that have been on here for eons.

There is a myriad of reasons to make fun of U of H. But us making fun of the attendance issues associated with any other university is absolutely absurd.

Can we wait for 5 years of good, sustained basketball attendance and start selling out football games before we rip on other teams for their attendance problems?
