Re: AAC Tournament BracketThe fact that UConn, Cincinnati, and Tulsa are all on the opposite side of the bracket works out really well for us.
Re: AAC Tournament Bracket
No doubt. The bracket couldn't be better for us if we had laid it out. Texas bites. Baylor sucks. As it was in the beginning, is now, and evermore shall be. Amen.
Re: AAC Tournament BracketIf we can beat ECU/UCF winner, while Memphis and Temple are tough, I'd rather face one of them than Cincy, UConn or Tulsa in the semi's. I'd go with the theory that unless we win the tourney, we aren't in the dance because the NCAA can always screw us over. Remember there are lots of conferences out there that have teams that could get upset by a team with a losing record and suddenly we become a choice between deserving teams and we always lose on that.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: AAC Tournament BracketAbsolutely. Win the tourney and the committee won't have any choice - except seeding...
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.
Re: AAC Tournament BracketLet's stop with the battered wife syndrome. We got screwed last year, everyone knows it, but our resume this season is miles ahead of last season. We are in and the only thing up in the air is seeding. Win the AAC tourney I believe we are a 5. Lose in the final or semi, we are a 6. Lose in the first round we are a 7, at worst 8.
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: AAC Tournament Bracket
Agreed. Our resume this year is far better than last year's, even if our conference as a whole has taken a few steps back.
Re: AAC Tournament BracketThey won't screw us two years straight. Tulsa might be " this year's us" though.
Party at The Wopper!
