I also wanted to say I am sickened by the disrespect the committee has shown the AAC yet again. Leaving Temple with an RPI of 34 out completely while giving UCLA with a single Top 100 game is a total joke. In addition, SMU easily winning the AAC regular season as well as the AAC title deserves waaaay better than a 6 seed.
No lie, I am picking SMU to go to the final four, you guys are legit. Some of the best interior/frontcourt passing I have seen in years, defensively solid, as well as having a stellar guard who is the defacto leader of the team. As we have seen in the past ('11 and '14) that is the recipe for success in the tournament. Larry Brown's impact can also not be stressed enough. The guy is experienced, been to the top of the mountain, and can flat out coach. Brown's adjustments against UConn have single handedly won one or two games in our series.
Anyway, good season, and go out there and kick everyone's asses, if anyone in this conference can do, I have no doubt it can be SMU. Go Mustangs.
