I'd have written it a little differently...

Well, yesterday they had Arizona playing Kentucky for the SEC Championship.

The March Madness Live app is great. Made me incredibly unproductive at work last year.

I'm going to be driving back to FW from OK City on Thursday afternoon. My plan was to DVR the game, go on a total media and PF blackout, and then watch on Thurs evening. Am I understanding that the game will only be broadcast on the web? Or will it in fact be broadcast on UVerse (therby being DVR-able)? Just trying to clarify b/c I don't want to miss it if at all possible.

You'll be able to DVR it on UVerse so long as you have TruTV. You probably do, even if you've never tuned there before; it's on most packages.

CBS usually has fantastic feeds online. Not sure how behind the TV feed it would be though.

I'd say test it out tomorrow since the first round games are all on TruTV.

I used the March Madness app last year, and it was ahead of the TV broadcast, almost 10 seconds. the app worked very well, and covered every game. Took my kindle with me everywhere.
