He certainly needs to have been doing some classroom work along with Markus, but I am putting on my rose colored glasses and counting on everyone who can come back to come back.

i put the return of Markus the Nic above all else.

I'd love to see Keith back for Keith's sake but i think we'd be fine without him.

No knock on Keith, just my opinion.

But i do hope he is hitting the books hard now.

I'm not sure what is so confusing... it says:

If you work really hard, making straight B's and really improving your perimeter shooting and on the ball defense at the same time is possible!

we of course could get by with out KF, but i could easily see KF develop into a 20 PPG player by the time he is a senior.

I don't know all of the details, but it has something to do with a one-armed man and Tommy Lee Jones...

We don't want him back?

Let's see, McD AA. Keith has the ability to play at the next level. And he was showing true signs of getting it, really getting it and making it all the way through LB's tear down and rebuild project (if only Sasser had that chance), when all of this came down and he was suspended. And he's a team player par excellence. I think anyone who doesn't want him back is not really thinking through this well.

I'd love to have him back, but it's not an absolute necessity. His "ceiling" might theoretically be higher, but we got better when Sterling took over his starting spot this year.

Don't kid yourself...we got better when MK came back. Which is about the time that KF had to sit. With KF on the team, I think we are all headed to Houston this weekend for the sweet 16. The lack of the outside threat definitely cost us in a number of games...think about all of those times that EGoo was on the floor and taking open threes. That would have been Keith. Hell yes - I want him back!

Of course we got better when Markus came back. I also think Sterling contributed more as a starter than Keith did. Those are not mutually exclusive.

I would definitely have preferred Keith taking those shots over Emelogu and I'm not saying I don't want him back. I just don't think it is vitally important.

He's a key to our future success. Losing him would be a big hit, up there with losing MK or Nic.

Distant third in my opinion, but I do think it's better for SMU and Keith if he stays.

I don't buy that. Obviously getting Markus back was huge, but the real difference is Sterling vs Keith. We were better last year when Sterling was getting Keiths minutes and we were better this year. I like the kid, appreciate his shooting and improvement, but Sterling is a considerably better competitor
