SMU is the team to beat if everybody comes back. Don't underestimate the natural improvement that will come from the experience and maturity of Sterling, Ben Moore Keith Frazier, Tolbert and Semi Olejeye....(I guess I'm going to have to learn to spell his name) Ojeleye

We've got an exceptional amount of experienced, proven players plus the freshman Top 100 youngsters. Don't know why you rate SMU so low unless you are discounting players leaving the team

Temple loses both starting guards but has a really good recruit coming in for them at guard.

SMU has 7 returning players who have already started in their college career-didn't Ojeleye start a few games too early in the season at Duke-he would make 8. That's a lot of experience for a Hall of Fame Coach to mold around the AAC Player of the Year and probably the best big man in the AAC

The one sure thing is that we all need to win big in the non-conference season. We do that, and we could land 4-6 teams in the NCAA tournament.

I just hope our bottom five progress and narrow the gap to our top 6.

It looks up for grabs next year. Who here picked Tulsa for second this year?

Memphis should be most improved. Cincy and Tulsa will be really good.
UCONN NEEDS A POINT GUARD. I think Temple is a solid fifth or sixth with UConn.

Everyone comes back and ups their game.... We repeat.

We have a strong incoming class, we are team to beat and we will be defending our championship. SMU followed by Connecticut, Cincinnati. Tulsa, Memphis and Temple are tied for 4th and UCF, USF make substantial improvement along with Houston. League will be much better and we may get 3 or 4 bids in the NCAA.

This is key. We need everybody to get through non-conference with no bad losses, a few big wins, and healthy RPIs.

We really should have been a three or four bid league this season. Next year, we definitely should be again.

If MK returns things will be pretty good. If not there could be some depth issues in the post.

We definitely have a strong incoming class of guards. As far as posts go just have to see if MK comes back.

If Nic and Markus are back and Keith regains his eligibility, together with Semi, Jordan and the incoming Frosh, we are going to be a handful. If our Sophs, Sterling and the 2 Bens continue to improve, we could be a really deep and talented team next year (as we hoped we would be this year). Let's just hope SMU becomes a fixture in the NCAA Tournament with the only question being what our seeding will be.

If MK doesn't come back, we will be pretty thin under the hoop until Semi becomes eligible in December.

One silver lining from Thursday is that the team has a really bad taste in their mouths. Assuming there is no postseason ban, these players will want another shot. Have you guys seen Markus' twitter and instagram? EVERYTHING is about family (FOE)

Cincinnati returns everyone of significance next season and adds a Top 100 recruit in 6-6 wing Jacob Evans. Should be Preseason Top 25.

Cincinnati gave Kentucky a game for a good portion of this game. They might be ranked as the number one team in the conference next year.

Assuming Nic/MK are back, I find it hard to believe SMU and Cincinnati are not 1/2 in some order preseason next year.
