No. He's had front office jobs with the Warriors and Kings, he's done some scouting, but no on-court coaching.

I guess that's the best they can do, but it sure would be depressing to the fans. What fan base would be excited to have Barnes? Who would believe him when he says he'll take them to the top of the SEC?

Might just need a change of scenery. Also the SEC hasn't been the gauntlet that the Big 12 has been in recent years. (Although A&M, Auburn, and LSU are bringing in star studded classes and of course UK will reload).

Barnes has at least proven he can win at high level. A guy like Underwood at SFA might be a little more of a risk. I don't think Tennessee would be in play for big names like Shaka Smart or Gregg Marshall but what do I know?

A lot of women's teams lose to UConn by that much. I think SMU's women's team lost to UConn by that much. But the UT men's team is on the way down to some degree and the women's team is on the way back up again.
