Coaches hate midnight madness. Most school don't even do itatmignight, b/c you want alums and families there, not just students. Thatdumbsdown the activities, but does allow for a morning practice next day.

We invited the party at Maryland and even we hate the festivity now. Motto mention title9 makes it so you end up watching50% of the ladies team, which no one cares about

Honestly, I think these only work for a few schools. You have to be a school where it's impossible (or very costly) to get tickets. This gives fans/alumni that can't go to a regular game a chance to see the team. No need to have a practice at midnight for a couple hundred fans.

My guess is if there is an event it will just be an open practice where fans can watch and LB and the team say something at the end (LB is very open about practice anyway).
