They believe they can play in the NBA (or at least over seas) and the best way for them to achieve that goal is to play hard and win now.

He doesn't think they will transfer (unless this season falls flat fast), he thinks they believe playing hard under Larry gets them closer to their life long dream.

I am the furthest thing from "close to the program", but I've wondered the same thing. The tourney is great, but its not the only motivator for these guys.

Has to be a trip to play ball in Greece or somewhere with hot women, beaches, and a party-first vibe. Maybe Croatia?

Can't wait for the mustang club email for that trip! I'm in.

Oh hell yes we are going and it is to Europe to play top European professional teams. Gets the players great exposure. Spoke to a Mavs scout and he said Nic has a real shot at the NBA and Markus will be playing in Europe.

Europe in late spring sounds better than mid-March in Spokane/OKC or random 1st round site.

Just a little curious here. If we have a "post season" ban would that not extend to a trip to play somewhere after the season has ended? Could not the NCAA say no to us playing anybody anywhere post season?

If they can work something like that it would be great.

Or close to the end of the semester to help graduation rates. Are the players still considering additional action towards the NCAA?

I am going to be on sabbatical in Ireland from May-July. Maybe they could show up in Dublin?

Wonder if it would have to be after the sprinf semester ended, or after the ncaa tournament ended. Maybe that puts us in the clear ?
