Apparently so. And Hart gave her an OOC schedule that is pretty much filled with mostly cupcakes so she can pile up wins and make it harder to fire her.

6 of the 11 teams we play made the post season last year. Plus 1 (potentially 2) lower level P5 teams. This is not an easy schedule.

Northwestern St. - NCAA tourney last year (Southland champ)
TCU - Women's NIT
Arizona St. - Sweet 16
New Mexico - second in the MWC, played in the WBI
Texas A&M - NCAA tournament
Miss. St. - NCAA tournament

I will consider the WBB season a success if Froling commits

From the Dallas Morning News:

SMU women's basketball team picked to finish fifth in conference by AAC coaches

By Bill Nichols

The SMU women's basketball team was picked to finish eighth in the American Athletic Conference by league coaches at Monday's media day in Orlando, Fla.

Ten-time NCAA Champion Connecticut, coming off three straight national championships, was a unanimous No. 1 selection, followed by South Florida. UConn senior Breanna Stewart, the only player ever to be selected Most Outstanding Player at the Final Four three consecutive years, was again the unanimous choice for the American's Player of the Year.

SMU coach Rhonda Rompola, entering her 25th season, bolstered her roster with several key additions after finishing 7-23 last season.

Transfer McKenzie Adams, who started for Arkansas as a freshman, is one of five newcomers. The sophomore averaged 8.6 points per game, making 35.5 percent of her three-point attempts. Two-time NJCAA All-American Ashley Gibson averaged 19.6 points at Butler Community College.

Yes. It's called "don't rock the Title IX boat". Progress not necessary.

Terrible parenting.

Just yet another area top recruit that Rompola hasn't gotten.

Couldn't have been a difficult choice for the girl. Baylor: large crowds, local opponents and ranked. SMU: can hear a commode flush during the game, opponents from BFE, bottom-feeder of their conference.

I wouldn't say it is a bottom feeder of a conference. UConn, USF, and Cincinnati are all good programs. Definitely not the Sunbelt or CUSA. And most womens basketball teams have attendance problem.

Preseason AP poll has UConn #1 and USF #20.

Guys, I saw our women's team play one game last year, and all I can say is, it wasn't very good basketball. This after 25 years?
Long live Inez Perez!
