ALEX LIFESON wrote:Pretty weak. Coming off the enormous media coverage from the Cinci game, there should have been a line around the block, to see this undefeated, entertaining, 15th ranked team. Where were the students and fans, that made it to Thursdays game? The small center court section, where the Mob sits, wasn't even full. The bleachers behind our bench were sparse, as were the east bleachers. Red seats were decent, but many, many, blocks of unused blue seats looked like an exhibition game. I don't want to hear the expected excuses, from the normal apologist. If you want a big time program, act like one. This is a SPECIAL team, that DEMANDS our support.

Red seat problem? blue seat problem?
The most infuriating thing to me is that we have a US president problem lately. Two games in a row, with ZERO former or current presidents in attendance??????
Unacceptable for a top tier program imo

Perhaps we are holding some of the Celebs for the Houston Game when Froling is set to visit. I fully expect W to show up with the former Prime Minister of Australia.

Very poor planning by Student Life. Fraternities asked to change times, but they would not.

Rush is planned well before the schedules come out and this game took place during the early part of rush before kids start getting culled. Anyone passing by the sorority houses before the game saw girls lined up in front of the houses waiting for the next session to start.
Don't shoot the messenger, just passing the info along.....

If that is true, someone needs to have a word with the Student Life office because that is crap! And folks wonder why students don't at SMU don't see athletics as a big part of the campus experience (that and the fact that until recently we were pretty awful)

Is Lori White still involved? If so, good luck.

Is it acceptable that the NFL QB is on injured reserve?

Formal rush was such an incredible waste of time. That someone thought highly enough it to refuse to adjust the times (or just cut an hour, who gives a sh*t), is disappointing.
