I missed this (dang). Anybody have a film clip? Did ref jaw with him?
Ref was on him immediately. He was taking himself way too seriously. He wanted to prove he had the biggest d!ck in the building.

anyone close to that situation - I missed it completely. Did he really get tossed for the ol glasses routine? - that's the oldest in the book.

The kid was almost in the officials face. LB was not happy with the kid either.

Doesn't he have to be in his face to put glasses on him? Seems like he was just trying to be helpful. Everyone is so dang sensitive these days.

He came down from the third row to the scorer's table. He was intent on making his point known.

I like it! Shows passion. A good tossing out of a fan is always ok as long as it doesn't happen too often. The kid showed spirit. Sure beats what the students were showing just a few years ago. I will take this problem over that one any day.

I would like to commend the young man that got thrown out. I previously thought that with the new points system, the student section was full of the only nerds in the school who would try hard enough to go to all the points necessary to sit there. The first year of the mob, there plenty of guys willing to make opposing coaches/benches uncomfortable. Glad to see some of that spirit is still alive.

If several students or the entire MOB had glasses/fake glasses and simply held them out and offered them to the officials accompanied by a chant after a questionable call...that would be pretty clever but TV commentators suggested that profanity was involved and I think the comment was "that's not funny" (referring to the language...not necessarily the idea of offering glasses to the official). I don't know, but I suspect Coach Brown was upset about what was said more so than the idea of taunting the official by offering him glasses. The MOB should take their cue from Coach Brown...he will let it be known if/when he disagrees with a call. Brown always tries to stay classy and I'm sure he just wants our student section to be the same.

The MOB needs an official organizer...ande develop traditions that turn frustration to wit or humor.

I was LOVING it when the kid got kicked out! That's GOLDEN! GREAT job!!!
And LOVE the idea of giving out glasses. I'm shocked that the MOB doesn't have a student leader or 2 to coordinate this kind of thing. Kinda odd. The Student Prez should get on that at minimum!
