As I understand, the class was not submitted as part of his transcript and was ultimately not needed for admission. It was ultimately an illegal backup plan should KF neeed it for admission and eligibility.

In the end not a good plan for a player that ultimately contributed little.

actually I think it was a backup strategy not needed because in the meantime Keith Frazier had his transcript illegally tampered with at Kimball in violation of DISD policy and in addition Keith and many others should have received an F in several classes because of excessive unexcused absences which should have been assessed to many students under DISD policy but was not

Yes, we are required to vacate wins, and it is something we are appealing.

Yes and the grounds for the appeal IIRC are that Keith was granted immunity in exchange for meeting with the NCAA and being forthcoming, thereby his immunity would mean he was eligible to play those games.

That said, vacating wins is such a dumb penalty Bc you can't take back the feeling the fans had, the tickets the school sold or the money raised. Take a trophy? Meh, no one will notice other than a footnote in the media guide.

Final Four banner is still hanging in the FedEx forum from when Derek Rose played there - 38 wins vacated that season.
