You got a scholarship - you have got to earn time on the floor - every minute.

I guess he did at A&M. He is playing very well on the top team in the SEC and tournament bound.

He would not have played a minute for us this year if he stayed.

Because he would've ran out of eligibility after lasts year, right?

If you recall, LB trimmed the roster and we ended up with a rotation even shorter than this year's. Essentially, the starters played the entire game with Bernardi & Giles getting about 10mpg each. Jones was the best player on that team and probably didn't want to see his playing time cut by 1/2.
