Idk if you're joking, but That's a pretty big loser mentality. No way I would. Excited to see how we improve as the season goes on. Really pumped for TCU.
Yes I'm kidding. I do think we will be better as we go through the season. How much better? I am concerned about how we could scrimmage so well and then seem to digress. They look lost out there at times. Too many times.
Never read to much into scrimmages.

Well, Texas should have seen dark days coming after that scrimmage against us. We probably thought we were better based on the scrimmage there as well.

I am betting the crowd will be nuts. Everyone knows the importance of the game. Add on top of that its TCU...

Moody will have a different feel Wednesday when most of the 5k season ticket holders show up. I expect the place to be rocking and that our team will find the energy they have been lacking the last couple of outings. I expect to see the same team I watched beat Pittsburgh and we will just have to see if that will be good enough to beat a much improved TCU team

You are dead on ECM, this game will set the tone for our team for this season. It's a must win, game-changer for us and hopefully the team shows up and doesn't pull a Boise state in front of the ticket holders. Also I hope it's the opposite of the Bakersville game in that, it's not a gut punch to watch.

There are no must wins in early December. Still, I hate TCU

true...need to gel for AAC Tourney, but it would be nice to have 20 wins on the resume by that time

This is a football Homecoming type game. Win and the casuals and semi regular season ticket holders buy in. Lose or get massacred and people start bailing. Lots of SMU eyes on this game Wednesday.

I want to win the game tonight, but disagree that the game determines our season.
I expect to see our team evolve offensively and defensively prior to McNeese, some more prior to Stanford, and some more prior to Memphis. If we don't get progressively better during that span, then we are what we are.
However, I expect our rotations and offensive efficiency will improve significantly by the time we get to the Memphis game because of practice time.

Alas tonight's game coincides with my wife's 40th. So I will be trying to discretely (who am I kidding, she knows) check the scores. She did say that I should postpone plans with her and go to the game but I think that was just a test!
