Re: 2017 American Athletic Conference Tournament Thread
Correct. http://theamerican.org/news/2016/3/3/MBB_0303161550.aspx PROVIDENCE, R.I. – American Athletic Conference Commissioner Mike Aresco announced today that the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut will host the 2017 American Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Championship, March 9-12. Hartford was selected from a large pool of potential host cities in The American’s geographical footprint. This marks a change in venue for the conference tournament from a previous announcement made in April 2014. Originally, the American Men’s Basketball Championship was slated to be played at the Amway Center in Orlando in both 2016 and 2017. The Amway Center now will be host to the 2016 and 2018 championships. In November 2014, the NCAA awarded the Amway Center with first and second round games for the 2017 Men’s Basketball Championship. As a result, the Central Florida Sports Commission and The American mutually agreed that it would be in the best interest to move the tournament from Orlando in 2017. Shake It Off Moody

Re: 2017 American Athletic Conference Tournament ThreadGood-I still want UCONN to have to play 4 games to win it at home no matter how bad they are playing right now

Re: 2017 American Athletic Conference Tournament Thread
Tough 3 games. However, I want better conference members which would make conf tourny a gauntlet
Re: 2017 American Athletic Conference Tournament ThreadGuessing Memphis will not put up much of a fight against UCF if they know SMU is waiting for them.
Re: 2017 American Athletic Conference Tournament ThreadI agree the bracket is set up nicely for the Ponies.

Re: 2017 American Athletic Conference Tournament ThreadI think ucf is the toughest in the bracket besides Cincy. Will be a battle
Re: 2017 American Athletic Conference Tournament Thread
They are definitely an interesting and challenging matchup, but for some reason Houston scares me more. Either way we are gonna have to beat a decent team and then Cincinnati to win this thing. Looking forward to a fun weekend of basketball. Shake It Off Moody
Re: 2017 American Athletic Conference Tournament Thread
Dont discount Temple too. Our conference is 8 strong (normally) but a lot of down years. Add Wich St and VCU
